STATIC SECURITY GUARDS

Static Guarding is security manpower in a set place.

Despite the title of Static Guarding at SPS Security our Security Officers are far from stationary.

Vital duties of this designation include but are not limited to:

• Conducting regular and thorough security patrols.
• Recording and Reporting of near-accidents, damages and what is observed during the rounds.
• Monitoring of burglar alarms, fire alarms, Biometric systems, operational alarms, CCTV surveillance as well as entry and exit access control.

Static Guarding may involve manned services on access points, the guarding of equipment or valuables as part of loss prevention, crowd control, event security, scene securing and personal protection.

We believe that the key ingredient in static guarding is to ensure the guards we have supplied are appropriate for the situation. This may include having certain personality types, training, or skills that are specific to the clients’ needs.

Our Guarding Division provides our clients with a highly professional static guarding service through the deployment of trained and uniformed/un-uniformed security officers all of whom are registered and graded in line with PSIRA regulations.
